The anti-RipoffReport

Make amends. Or face full disclosure.

RipoffReport lets anonymous strangers shred a reputation, then charges the target to hide it. We do the opposite. Every dispute is anchored to a receipt both sides signed. Either side can file. There's a 14-day private window to make it right. If nothing is made right, the whole record goes public — both sides shown, permanent, free, and unhide-able.

No receipt, no claim

Every grievance is tied to a signed transaction. Anonymous attacks have no surface here.

Amends first

14 private days to apologise, refund, or correct. Resolved cases never publish.

Disclosure if unresolved

Both sides published. Both sides can reply forever. No SEO games, one canonical URL.

No pay-to-hide

Money cannot remove a published case. Money can only fund the work that fixes things.

Why this is different

I was a telemarketing scammer once — French Montréal and Winnipeg, the only jobs going. I know what it looks like from the dialing side and from the customer side. That's exactly why the rules here are symmetric. Consumers can call out businesses. Businesses can call out bad-faith consumers. Same form, same window, same disclosure. Nobody buys their way out.

The flow, in one minute

  1. Receipt — the transaction is signed by both parties on localpayments.io.
  2. Grievance — either side files. The other side is notified.
  3. Amends window — 14 private days. Offer, counter, refund, apology, correction.
  4. Disclosure — only if amends fail. The whole timeline goes public, both sides shown.
