The trinity
Three sites doing one job: get a human back in control of their own identity, their own work, and their own money — without a single Google or Meta sign-in standing between them and their life.
1. Why three, not one
Bundling identity, products, and payments behind one login is exactly the failure mode we're fighting. So the stack is split on purpose — three domains, three concerns, three sites that can each fail without taking the others down.
The public square. Where stories are told, letters are written, regulators are filed with, and a real human verifies you over a live video call.
- The Wall — live human verification
- Verified Identity (vid_...) registry
- Escalation letters, petitions, preserve playbook
- Field reports, full disclosure register, laws
The workshop. A free account anchored to your Verified Identity — no mailbox, no Google or Meta sign-in — plus tools to build AI-powered sites cheaply, and lessons that teach others to do the same.
- Free Verified-Identity account, no mailbox required
- Cheap, fast site building with AI
- Teach-the-builder curriculum
- Optional paid tiers for hosting client work
The bank window. Take money for what you build and teach — without surrendering your identity to a platform that can switch you off tomorrow.
- Payments routed to a Verified Identity, not a platform handle
- Per-city, per-jurisdiction payout options
- Verifier honoraria — Wall reviewers get paid here
- Receipts that survive any one account being killed
2. The user journey across the three
- You arrive on allannott.tech locked out or worried about being locked out. You preserve the trail (/preserve), write a letter (/letter), and book a Wall call (/wall/request). A human verifies you and issues a public Verified Identity at /i.
- You use that Verified Identity to open a free account on upgradeai.net. No new mailbox to lose. No Google sign-in to be revoked. You can build a site, take a short course, or use AI tools — anchored to you, not to a platform-issued handle.
- When you want to get paid — for your work, a client site, a course you teach, or a Wall shift you volunteered — you do that on localpayments.io. The payment is tied to your Verified Identity, so even if a platform later kills the account you used to advertise the work, the payment rail and the receipts persist.
- Verifiers — the humans staffing The Wall — are paid through localpayments.io too. Funded by donations and paid tiers on upgradeai.net. Never by the person being verified.
3. The handoff rules
- One ID, three sites. The Verified Identity issued on allannott.tech is the only credential the other two need.
- No silent data sharing. Each site holds only what it needs. Stories stay on allannott.tech. Payment data stays on localpayments.io. Build artifacts stay on upgradeai.net.
- Receipts everywhere. Every weight-bearing event — verification, payment, account creation — produces a receipt the user keeps a copy of. Lose the site, keep the receipt.
- Off-ramps by design. Data export is a first-class feature on all three. We refuse to do to people what we built this against.
4. How it makes money — and refuses to
Full economics live on /plan. The short version: free where it has to be free (verification, basic accounts, the letter, the preserve playbook), paid where someone genuinely gets more (hosted client work, advanced AI tools on upgradeai.net, payout services on localpayments.io). No ads, ever. No data sales, ever. No pay-to-be-verified, ever.
5. What's live, what's next
- allannott.tech — live. Every page you can see in the navigation works today.
- upgradeai.net — separate Lovable project in the same workspace. Free Verified-Identity account and AI-build tooling.
- localpayments.io — separate Lovable project in the same workspace. Payment routing tied to Verified Identity.
When workspace cross-project sharing is re-enabled (Settings → Privacy & security), the three projects can read each other's public surfaces and the integration becomes seamless. Until then they're connected by the Verified Identity only.
