The call runs on Jitsi Meet's free public server. Audio and video stream peer-to-peer (small calls) or through their SFU (larger). Recording is disabled in this room's config — neither side can press record from this UI. Closing the browser tab ends the call instantly.
Privacy: we don't run a server for this room — Jitsi does. We don't see who joined, when, or what was said.
No recording: the room is configured with fileRecordingsEnabled: false and liveStreamingEnabled: false. If either side attempts to record outside this app (OS screen capture, phone pointed at screen), that's verifier or caller misconduct, not a platform feature.
The receipt is generated separately on the checklist page after the call ends.
